Introduction to Safety Leadership

This module will provide workplace leaders with an understanding of the value added to the overall success of their business when a proactive approach to OHS is practiced and achieved. Items to be considered include:

• Are your employees returning home safely to their families & communities at the end of their workday?
• Are workplace incidents impacting their ability to return to work the next day or impacting their ability to be fully productive?
• Are workplace incidents impacting your ability to provide on time service?
• Are your insurance rates increasing including your Workers Compensation premiums?

As leaders we have the authority, ability and legal duty to prevent workplace incidents.
